TRUST 2012

Call for Participation & Call for Posters

5th International Conference on Trust and Trustworthy Computing

13-15 June 2012, Vienna, Austria

It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the upcoming TRUST

Call for Participation

TRUST 2012 focuses on the technical and soci-economic aspects of trustworthy
infrastructures. It provides an excellent interdisciplinary forum for
researchers, practitioners, and decision makers to explore new ideas and
discuss experiences in building, designing, using and understanding
trustworthy computing systems. Building on the success of TRUST 2011 (held
in Pittsburgh, USA), TRUST 2010 (held in Berlin, Germany), TRUST 2009 (held
in Oxford, UK) and TRUST 2008 (held in Villach, Austria), the conference
focuses on trusted and trustworthy computing, both from the technical and
social perspectives. The conference itself has two main strands, one devoted
to technical aspects and one devoted to the socio-economic aspects of
trusted computing.

Besides technical contributions, TRUST will feature three invited talks,
given by

*	Sarah Spiekermann, Vienna University of Economics and Business

*	Thomas A. Henzinger, IST Austria
*	Mukund Gunti, VMWare

Furthermore, the conference will host a panel discussion on "Future
challenges of trust in mobile and embedded devices".

Call for Posters

TRUST 2012 will feature a poster session that aims at rapid dissemination of
latest research results. Authors are invited to submit a concise description
of new research ideas and on-going projects to the Poster Track of TRUST
2012. The poster track is intended to provide a venue for research that is
not mature enough to warrant a full paper but which would be of interest to
the general community. We particularly encourage Ph.D. students to present
their ongoing work.

We encourage submissions from all research areas relevant mentioned in the
call for papers of TRUST, such as information security, trusted computing,
trustworthy infrastructures and usability of security. Submissions should be
no longer than 4 pages in Springer LNCS format. Authors of accepted posters
will be expected to be present at their posters during the poster session of
TRUST to discuss their work and answer questions.

Deadline for poster submissions: May 4, 2012

Notification of paper acceptance: May 13, 2012
